Embroidery is therapy to my soul
I love creating things but I have a slope for embroidery. I started embroidery in 2017 as a therapy to come out from a dark period I was facing at that time, at first I was knowing nothing about embroidery or how to do it, but my mom taught me the basics, and I challenge myself to learn, day after day until I find my way.
I enjoyed the laid back feeling about it, I work hard to develop my art, and I keep searching for inspiration that exists everywhere. I can say that embroidery is therapy to my soul. I love to create beauty from nothing and sharing my art all worldwide, and show that Moroccan girls are creative. If I’m not creating with my hands, you’ll find me writing poetry or sketching.
My brand name is Tamgh’Art Hands, mixed of Berber language and English language. I want to put my origins and my identity to my brand, inspired by my Berber origins because my mother is Berber women from south Morocco.
